The Blount County Historical Museum invites you to join the First Families of Blount County Tennessee.  For eligibility, you must prove your descent from an ancestor that was recorded as a resident in or prior to 1830.

The forms can be downloaded below and should be filled out, providing a copy of proof of your ancestor’s residence in Blount County along with proof of your descent.

These records will be kept on file at the Blount County Historical Museum.

In the future, the program may develop a newsletter of specific topics of interest to the group and/or events planned.  If you wish to participate in receiving this information, please be sure to let us know by checking the box at the bottom on the last page of your application.
